We are starting a fundraiser for the KAMC Foundation. It will start on March 15th, and run through April 30th. Here are some key points:
- This fundraiser will be in honor of Hank Hancock.
- Since the Foundation is a 501c3 organization, all donations will be tax-deductible
- 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be used a lump sum payment on our building, which is where we have our Plumbing and HVAC classes.
- Later this Fall, we would like to name the class part of our building the Hank Hancock Mechanical Sciences Building. That will be proudly displayed on the outside of the building, and a plaque with Hank's picture, name, and fact about him will be hung inside the classroom.
- This Fall, we would like to have an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, with the newspaper here to report. Ann Hancock has already committed to attending this ceremony.
- We will also have displays on the wall showing certain donor levels.
- What better way to show gratitude and praise to the man that Hank Hancock was than proudly displaying his name on our building for all to see.
